Can anyone tell me what a scanner is?

Can anyone tell me what hp all in one printer-scanner-copiers work with windows vista? Have found out that som

    HP photosmart c6188.ITS GREAT!!!! The scan function will operate after u get a support from the HP site. Go to Hp website and open support.Then u need to get a driver for vista from the website.The installation cd which comes with the printer will only be compatible with Windows versions till XP.However, go to the website and go to the support section.then drivers.then give the product name and code..eg. c6188 and u will get vista compatible driver for ur printer.save it on a cd for further use because vista will ask for driver installation every time u work with ur printer..register ur product.I did the same thing.I have VISTA and I have that printer.its great and you will get the support driver from the site.all the best.

You could get the same one as I have, the HP Deskjet F380. I've never had trouble with it and it is compatible with PC and Mac (Including Windows Vista) Make sure you get your own USB cable.

Any HP all-in-one COULD work perfectly with Windows Vista. If yours does not it's because HP have not got around to writing Vista drivers for it. Check the HP web site for information on which models are compatible with Vista now and which they plan to get around to making compatible.

i just got an hpc3100 from argos half price £39.99 it has software for xp and vista its an all in 1 with scanner.

If you get the vista drivers for that printer it should work fine the scanner should work as well mate.
