What are the most suitable laser printers for mac osx 10.4??

i just switched to mac, and my old printers are not mac compatible.. what are the most suitable and good printers that are compatible with both os...

2 questions for you. 1 do you really need a laser printer? inkjet printer are much cheaper! 2 is it only parallel? Most current printers have usb, and the older ones also have serial! the mac is no longer a driver poor sibling in the pc market place! UPDATE: there are a lot of konica minolta pagepro printers! If you have it working on the pc, keep it there, just set up sharing, and you may be able to get it to work. is the printer a network printer via ethernet? if so, use it! If it was my printer I would just plug it in, and try the default printer drivers.... one may work. Good luck!
