What's wrong with the printer?

My printer won't print, the ink is full, there is paper in it, the software is installed, whats wrong?

  • I have a Multipass MP730, it was printing fine 2 weeks ago, then it start printing blanks. I replaced the ink cartridges, I filled it with paper, I double checked my settings, haven't touched the software, I can't figure out whats wrong? The only thing I can think of is that I've never changed my toner. To be honest, I've never changed toner in my life, I don't even know what/where it is. How do I figure out why my printer isn't printing? And btw, I've performed all the maintenance stuff like head cleaning etcetc multiple times. Thanks in advance!

  • Answer:

Good luck changing a toner on a INKJET printer, there IS NOT A TONER in an inkjet machine. Sounds like the heads are clogged, contact canon support for best advice, as if it is under warranty they have to fix it. try www.canon.com to start off

Okay this might be silly but did you check the printers folder to see if the printer was marked as your default printer. Silly I know but sometimes the hardest things to figure out have the silliest answers.

Make sure it's turned on and plugged in.
