What Is Fondant Paper?

What should I do to print a Transparency? There is not option for that paper.?

  • I need to print a Transparency for screen-printing. I have read other questions on here and went to try and print a Transparency from my Inkjet Canon Pixima MP600. But there is not an option to chose Transparency in paper type. Could I use another option or should I just try a few to see witch on work best? These are the options available; Plain Paper Photo Paper Pro Photo Paper Glossy Photo Paper Double Sided Matte Photo Paper Glossy Photo Paper High Resolution Paper Ink Jet Hagaki (what is this?) Hagaki T-Shirt Transfer Other Photo Paper I have the Kimoto Silkjet inkjet Transparency paper that I bought from a screening company and I know it needs to be opaque. I just don't know what paper to chose. Also What Quality should I chose; High, Standard, Fast or Custom? And on the Color/Intensity should I leave it on Auto or change to Manual to make intensity the way I want it? Thanks for any help and sorry so many questions.

    Hagaki is a Japanese post card. Just printing normally with a transparency designed for ink jet printing will be fine. DO not attempt printing on a transparency that is not designed for an ink jet printer acetates melt.

good question but if your printer wont support transparencies, maybe your copy machine will. If it doesn't, there are also machines available that you just put the tranparency sheet against the original and feed it thru and it comes out with the image on the tranparent paper. No doubt FedEx Kinkos or one of those outfits would have those available. If you do a lot of those, they're probably at office supply stores. If it's for business, projectors that display slides from a PC or laptop have come down in price. Maybe it's within your budget.
