How do I connect my PC to my printer to print?

Can i connect my MacBook to my PC printer wirelessly? If so , how?

  • I have an Epson printer connected to my Desktop PC running Windows XP. Using my local network, can I wirelessly connect my MacBook to print off of my PC Printer. If so, can you go through the steps? Thanks to all that answer!

  • Answer:

Maybe. You might need to have a wireless card in your desktop PC. One way or another tell your PC to allow printer sharing. Your MacBook should find the printer when you try to add a printer if your PC will do it.

you need to get a device called a print server, this connects into the back of your router via ethernet, some are wireless too, the wired ones are cheaper. then you plug it into the router (or connect it wirelessly, they are all different there will be instructions) i'd go with ethernet (cheaper) then it will be shown over the network. (it converts ethernet to USB)

Hello_world

I think the easiest thing to do is get a wireless print server.
