Can I access a Driver for my HP693c Printer by reinstall of Windows XP pro?

Printer hangs data up in print que. cant access HP toolbox since attempt brings message "need Driver". Over Internet test of Printer Driver says its ok. Tried Driver download anyway but don't know if succeeded and problems not resolved. Windows & HP support programs do not help.

Answer:
How about completely uninstalling the Printer driver and deleting the printer from XP. Disconnect the USB cable. Shut down computer and printer. Boot the computer and start installing the printer driver. When prompted, connect the USB cable and you should be in business.

It would appear that Windows XP includes this driver, a reinstall of XP should allow you to reinstall it without additional download.
