My printer won't print in black.

Printer wont print with just black ink. help?

  • my brother printer will not print because there is only black ink left and that is all i need but it keeps saying replace the yellow etc what can i do i only want to print black writing.

    Most printers won't print unless you replace the color cartrdige as well.

If u r using Windows 7, then go to: Control Panel>Devices & Printers >Choose ur Printer >Right-click & select printer properties >Choose "Device Settings" Tab >Under Installed Cartridges, choose "Black" from Drop Down list Ensure your printer is on. It worked absolutely fine for my HP F370. My color cartridge slot is empty, without any cartridge in there... Hope, it works for u as well. Regards, √irαl

With most printers you are required to have ink in both the black and color ink cartridges in order to print in black as they work in conjunction with each other. Now, this may be possible, but it depends on the printer that you are using.
