How can I print addresses onto envelopes?

I'm making my own party invitations. The paper and envelopes are shinny, so I couldn't use my printer to do this as it just smudges no matter what setting I put it on. For the invitations, I printed them onto plain paper and took them to a photocopier and copied them onto the shiny paper, it worked great! BUT - I've phoned several places and they said that they can't use their photocopiers to print onto the envelopes because it will jam up the printer! :( What should I do?! Does anyone have any good ideas?!

Buy a pack of printer lables, print on them then stick them on your envelopes.
