How can share my printer?

  • I have 2 computers one printer and i wanted to know how to share the printer.

    Assuming you are running Windows. Start > Printers and Faxes Then right click on the printer and pick Sharing Then pick Share This Printer and give it a name On the other computer: Start > Printers and Faxes File > Add Printer Then pick A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer and follow the on screen instructions

Well, You need to create a network between the two computers and while setting this up make sure you have printer sharing selected. I hope that helped.

Suppose you have network already. You just connect you printer to one of your computers and set it up as a shared printer. That's it. No matter you are using windows 9x/2000/xp. They are all the same.
