What printer should I get?

What Type of All-In-One Printer Should I Get?

  • I would like to have a printer that not only prints much faster than Dell Photo Printer 720, but also has good quality, scans, and copies. I heard good things about the HP Photosmart C5180. I'm just not sure of how reliable it really is. Also, if possible I would like to keep my spendings on this new printer/scanner/copier to a maximum of $150, including tax if possible. Do you think that this all-in-one printer will meet all of my printing, scanning, and copying needs? BTW, will this printer run on a Dell Dimension E310 that has Windows XP Media Center Edition with SP3, 1 GB RAM, 69.8 GB HDD, and Intel Pentium 4 processor? If you don't know the answer to the last question then it's okay as long as I know about this printer. Best answer gets 10 points!

  • Answer:

Hmm, whatever you choose, mind you it's the usage that matters. Find out which one's require or use the Ink optimally. As if the ink requires is more then you must shell out more. Infact buying the all-in-one is not the crux but the usage, many fail to realise it. Also usage patterns differ for people, ask a person who has similar printing requirements like you.
