I tried to install my software for my printer , lexmark 2600 series , but it wont work cause i need 256 MB ?

Your computer doesn't have enough RAM to run the software. A computer with only 191MB of RAM is definitely way too old to be still using in 2009. You can take it to a computer store and ask for a RAM upgrade. Knowing stores like Best Buy, they'll try to over charge by $100 and try to up-sell you to a new PC. In my opinion you really do need a new PC. Any one would work. Even a $200 netbook would be better than what you have now.

what it is telling me the software requires a free 256 Mb to work from and by the sounds of that your total ram? So upgrade your ram or to install it requires 256Mb of ram and you have only 191 free or available. If it is not memory then it is hard drive space required, which is unlikely. It would probably take less if you had a disk but seeing as you downloading a bit more file swapping to go on so it needs some temp. space?
