How to change ink cartridge on Lexmark printer?

I have a Lexmark X6570 ink printer. I refilled the cartridge and now it reflects as empty. How do u reset it.?

It is a Lexmark X6570 wireless all in one printer. It has the original lexmark cartridge that I have filled for the first time, before it was empty. I have refilled other lexmark printers before. This one just needs the ink status to be reset and I need to know how to do that. Lexmark's friendly support staff just keep replying that they don't recommend the use of refilling the cartridges. I am not interested in what they recommend. Refills were working for me for several years and I would like to continue using it. I tried removing the cartridges, switching the unit off and on, removing the power box, but it does not work. Thanks

Look at your cartridges. if they say Return Program, you can not refill them. A fact that has many refillers angry about lexmark. You need to buy the non return program cartridge, those can be refilled.
