What kind of printer should I get?

  • ok, so my EPSON STYLUS C64 printer just broke! My birthday is coming up on July 16th so my mom told me to find a new printer and put it on my bday list...can you help me find a good one? I was wondering what kind of printer would be good for mainly using for schoolwork...and it would be good if the ink wasn't too expensive for it...right now i use durabrite ink for my printer that broke...lol...the price isn't bad for that i guess oh ya...and i don't need a printer that can print pictures out because recently i bought a canon pixma....so i'm all set for pics! don't want a really expensive printer...just show me some links so i can check them out! thnx so much! ♥michelle♥ - the one who loves technology...but technology hates her

    Depends on what you want it for Hp are good but expensive for ink Epson are great as they have separate ink cartridges cannon are great as well as they have separate ink cartridges as well if you want to save money on ink get one that has separate cartridges as you only have to replace the one that is empty not like the HP all the colour is in one cartridge, lexmark are good as well. Check out these two they are great. PIXMA iP5300,PIXMA iP6700D

If you're interested in inkjet printers, I highly recommend HP; I have two of them, plus a laserjet. If you need a picture printer , also look at Canon. For general printing, HP is the best. Also, for cartridges, go to 123inkjets.com

Try Canon IP1200, I think it's very suitable for schoolwork. Its not too expensive there compare to my country, rite...

But now if you buy a new printer the USB cord to plug it into your computer is sold seperately, and it costs $40 in stores. But you can find them online at http://www.newegg.com for about $10 instead....good luck!
