Are HP 97 ink cartridges compatible with any of the other cartridges?
-
I think they make a new cartridge for every new printer. I'd have to guess many of them are the same size but a new product number.

Answer:
Generally you can use the HP 95 too - but the yield is lower (only 330 versus 660 with the HP 97. Have you considered remanufactured ink cartridges? In my experience they work just as well as the originals, but cost a lot less. Just be sure you buy them from a reputable online retailer with a solid satisfaction and return policy.
