Why won't my black ink work?

Why wont my printer work? the wires are connected, its installed, i have ink, and paper i just wont print!?

  • the wires are connected, its installed, i have ink, and paper it just wont print! I have two printers and neither of them work

  • Answer:

Since you have two printers and neither will print,i think it is a service that needs to be started and it wont.It could have got disabled, follow the instructions below to find out.You need to click Control Panel, then click Performance and Maintenance, then click Administrative Tools, then on the right double click Services, scroll down until you see Print Spooler and right click it,then click properties on the first screen that comes up look for Start Up Type: and make sure its set to automatic, then look for Service Status and make sure it is started,if not click on Start (if it is already started it will be grayed out),click apply then ok.Then back on the services page scroll and find Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and make sure that is set the same way as the Print Spooler and then click apply, then ok if you changed it and then try to print, you can restart, but it shouldn't be necessary.hope this helps.email me with the name and model number of your printer if you need more help.

the solution to your problem may be as easy as clicking start, click printers and faxes, right click printer then click set as default printer. also, go to your printer manufacturer's website, download and install the latest printer software/driver for your operating system. click start, click printers and faxes, add a printer (add a printer wizard pops up) follow instructions from there (make sure to select the printer as your default printer then do a test print). good luck!

Right click the my computer icon on your desktop. Select properties. Find device mgr. Once that's open, look to see if your printer has a yellow flag beside it. If so, right click and update software. If that doesn't work, restart the computer and that should do it.
