Epson RX600 printer ....... head cleaning question ...?

  • I have an old but reliable Epson RX600 all in one printer. Recently, the print quality has reduced, often to just kicking out clear sheets, and going through the head cleaning procedure does work but not always. Is there any other way to optimise head cleaning or is it just a question of running the head cleaning procedure several times? I assume changing the cartridges has no benefit? All advice welcome! Thanks

    Head cleans will also use up your ink. When did you last replace the ink cartridges? Did you use genuine Epson or cheap compatibles? Compatibles are not necessarily bad, but there are some bad ones out there which can affect print quality.

Hello, have you checked to see if there is a 'deep clean' option for cleaning? this can be useful but do not do it too much, as it may cause damage.
