What is the best wireless printer for printing pictures?

I want a printer that will print the best pictures, and detail printing. Any suggestions? I have a DELL.?

    Stay away from Dell, Lexmark, and Epson. PC Magazine rated Lexmark (and thus Dell, which is made by LExmark) as the worst printers. Epson users have a lot of trouble with their ink (see epsonsettlement.com). Also, Epson ink is expenisve (their new printers use 6 cartridges and cost $15 each. Imagine if you ran out of ink how much that would cost.). By far the best printer that does great photos, as well as regular printing, scanning, and copying is the HP Photosmart C5180. Like Epson, this machine uses 6 ink cartridges. However, the difference is this: first, they only cost $10 each ($18 for the larger black cartridge) and second, you can buy all 6 cartridges and 150 sheets of 4x6 photo paper in a combo pack for $36. This brings the average cost per photo down to 24 cents. With Epson and Canon the cost per photo is between 50 and 60 cents. Any printer will work on your Dell computer as long as you have Windows 98 or better. So, I recommend the HP C5180. This is the printer I own and this is the printer that several of the Best Buy employees in my area own as well. Photos come out great. The printer costs $199 normal retail, however if you check your Sunday newspaper, likely you will find it on sale somewhere for around $169. And since most places ad-match, you should have a problem getting a discounted price. I have included a couple of links about this printer.

Even with a Dell, if you have windowsXP you can put on any printer. Dell does not make the best. I went through 2 of them this year doing a lot of color prints and banners and now have an HP hooked up to my Dell machine.

I used to help admin a large network with different domains. One domain I had to work on was the CAD design/Printing network. I noticed they would use special printers from HP and Lanmark(I think that is how you spell it) These where not normal printers they where used for printing magazines and CAD designs. I believe if you are willing to pay alot then this would be the best option. Sorry but I don't do alot of printing really I just use a regular Inkjet or Laser Printer. Usually from the company we buy the computers from for price reasons.

I was at a basketball tournament and several people were taking digital photos of the players and then printing it out for the parents or whoever to buy. They were excellent quality and I asked the people about the printer and software they were using. 1. Basic Digital Camera 2. Epson Stylus R300 (cheap, by the way) 3. But the trick here is to use the EPSON glossy paper. They would cut it to 5 x 7 and the photos were just beautiful! I couldn't tell it from a professional version. Since then, I've adopted they're method and use this process for my home pictures and I get nothing but compliments about how I can capture and print such great quality photos!!
