  Please look up the term FAX, it is a protocol of land line telephones, a computer can send emails that are a lot more versatile, PDF documents with both video and sound. If you want to send a fax then you can using your telephone, but why restrict your self to that limited medium when you have a computer connected to the internet ? Hope this helps. CDR
