  • Answer:

First you must got to the PC where the print is and go to the Control Panel> Printers > (Printer) Right click on it and allow sharing through the network. Now it time to go to the other computer and go to the Control Panel> Printers> Add printer Go on through the steps till the screen you choose whatever if the printer is remote or local. Choose remote. Windows will ask you the name of the sharing of the printer. The default is \\(PcWithPrinterName)\(PrinterName) [This is chosen when your sharing the other printer] You can put the computer name or it local IP, if it's through a simle LAN. Hope it helped, Matt

From your laptop, you click your printer icon and then make it shared. Install the printer driver to your desktop ( computer in your own word) and then it as default printer. You only have two nodes in your networking. Why bother? Simply unplug from one system and plug into another system.

Load the printers drivers on the system that you need to print from. Share the printer from the system its connected and browse through your network and add it to the system that you need to print from.
