Micro BGA solder paste printing problem?

  • do anyone know how to overcome the printing of solder paste for micro BGA ? What type of Squeege to use, eg rubber or metal is better ? What printing attack angle is better eg 45 / 60 degree. What type of stencil material to use or what is the thickness is best for very fine micro bga eg 0,01mm opening. what type of support or material for the table base ? I try and try still could get a perfect printing cause by either solder printing short or insufficient sodler paste printed on the pcb bds. Can anyone help thk .

  • Answer:

You have opened a real bag of worms here as the ability to solder circuit boards (especially using BGAs) is a fairly complex subject. I would suggest you try to research this from a reasonable technical publication or find someone who has been a production engineer within a company that were manufacturing SMT technology circuit boards.
