What printer do I need to make weatherproof stickers?

If I am replacing my old printer with the same make and model printer, do I need to install the software?

  • I just got a new laser printer to replace my old one. It is the same make and model. Can I just plug it in, or do I need to install the software that comes with it?

    Your operating system should recognize it, easily, and if worse comes to worse, then just pop in the CD, it will do all the work. But all you may need is a new driver, and they are easy to download from the Printer's website. But as it's the same make and model, all should go well.

It will work fine without installing software. You will, however, want to delete the old printer out of the printers list to make the new printer the "default" printer. Else, some programs may try to print to the old printer. To delete the printer, go to your Control Panel, and click on Printers. Right click on the old printer, and left click on delete. Once deleted, plug in the new one. Makes things less complicated/confusing down the road, and eliminates future headaches.

it will work just make sure to plug it into the same port again otherwise the computer might have to detect the device again.
