Which is a better print to buy?

Which inkjet printer brand is the best buy for the cost of ongoing print cartridges?

  • I owned an all-in-one hp,up until a month ago. Dont remember the model but It was 2 years old probably. And I couldnt afford the cost of cartridges for it. I read somewhere that there is a date in the hp cartridges that has you replace it after it expires even if there is plenty of ink left. Some months I wouldnt use it at all and then when I did It would spit the error replace cartridge and try again. at 70 dollars a set, and replacing once every 2 months, I feel is rediculous. Sometimes I would put an open unused cartridge in and it wouldnt work because of expiration.I probably printed an average of 10 to 15 sheets a month.. maybe of those 1 or 2 pictures. I will never again purchase an hp printer. Anyone know of a brand of printers that doesnt have those problems. I dont care if its a cheapy brand or expensive one. I was thinking maybe lexmark? I dont care too much for awesome specs. Just something that can print a doc or 2 and maybe the occassional picture.. Nothing fancy. thanks

  • Answer:

I use Lexmark..... but! U can maybe consider buying the actual liquid ink refills. They are so much cheaper and not hard to deal with. In fact you can buy bulk liquid refills on Ebay for under 10.00 and it can refill your cartridges over 7 times. The only catch would be to refill the ink before it runs all the way or else is ruins your cartridge.
