Which printer has the cheapest printer ink, but best quality?
-
I'm going back to college in 2 weeks and for the past 3 years, I've had an Epson Stylus CX4800 printer. I always have tons of paper to print out so I would end up having to buy their expensive $50-$60 ink cartridges every couple of months. Which printer has the best quality but has fairly cheap ink that lasts relatively long? I've heard Kodak has launched it's cheap ink campaign, but is it all scam? Please help!

Answer:
Kodak keeps pushing the fact that their cartridges are $10 while everyone else's is close to $20 but... based on the number of complaints posted here, the printers have a lot of problems and since no one is making compatibles for Kodak, $10 is no bargain when you can get epson compatibles for $3. If you're looking for a reliable all-in-one inkjet with good quality output, a solid warranty and inexpensive ink, look at the Epson workforce or NX series. Here are Epson's current sales: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/BuyEpson/Specials.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=0&RMID=eml_browse_ILMversionprinter&RRID=1013876963 https://epson.rsys3.net/servlet/website/PersonalizedForm?LilhgELts_VTTCTB_80zPHssLmELtHps_HKKkLllEpSSRFRnhhKtHgDJhtElohPEgEyLJpipLgmbK_EAXAAVB Use this code to get an additional 15% off 9FMLYSAV15 The best warranty in the industry. For a year, Epson will fedex a replacement and pick up the old one should you need it. You can now get 11 free cartridges every month for Epsons which each hold about double the ink of standard cartridges. This does not involve joining a club or mail-in rebates or committing to any other offer. You just buy the 11 cartridges for $30 and turn in your empties for a credit of the full purchase price. I've done it four times already. Here are the details: http://www.ccs-digital.com/freeink.asp

I've been printing like crazy lately and going through ink since I started advertising for my business. I was dissatisfied with the prices at even Cartridge World, that is supposed to save you money on used cartridges. So, I found a cool do it yourself ink jet refill system that has saved me lots of money. Refilling your own cartridges isn't hard to do. This kit even has instructions for all kinds of printers and the tools and ink you need to refill it. It takes about 30 minutes your first time. It's kind of boring. But hey, you are saving a WHOLE bunch of money. These printer companies are ripping us off with their expensive cartridges. Bypass them and refill your cartridges yourself.

For sure not Canon, that is all I can tell you. Had Epson for 6 years and I have to say it was a bad choice buying Canon.
