Why won't my Lexmark printer turn on?
-
I have a Lexmark x2580 printer. I just bought it recently and it worked fine yesterday. My friend was using it today, and she thought it wasn't working. She pressed the power button MULTIPLE times(she was pressing it nonstop), and also unplugged and plugged back the power cord. And now, my printer just won't turn on, and it makes this buzzing noise whenever the power cord is plugged back in. Why won't my printer turn on? Why is there a buzzing noise? What can I do? Please help!!

Answer:
Sounds like there's an electronic/electrical problem with the printer or power adapter. There's probably not much you're going to be able to do to fix it. If it's still under warranty, you can try getting it replaced at the store where you bought it or contact the manufacturer. If it's out of warranty, you can have it looked at by a tech, but it may not be repairable.
