How can i install my canon printer with out installation disc?

How do I install my printer without the installation disc?

  • I have a Lexmark X1240 and I need to install the printer but I don't have the installation disc. Any suggestions?

    Yep! I've never installed my printers with the discs cause I lose them all the time. Just google "lexmark X1240 driver download" and you can download it free! very easy to find and download! Hope this helps!

Try this: http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:0:0:0 Or if this didn't work just go to lexmark.com and click on the link "Drivers and Downloads" Put X1240 on the search box and It will give you the drivers.

here's a link to the Lexmark web site. Just select your operating system and download the drivers. To confirm that the driver was right try to print a test page. Hope this helps. http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

Okay all you got to do is to plug your printer usb wire into your computer it should pick it up this way and ask if you want to install
