Why won't my printer work?

  • For some reason, my printer won't work. I tried restarting, but still it didn't work, I tried to clear the queue and print again, but it wouldn't work, and I tried to uninstall the printer and install it again, but when I try to uninstall, it wouldn't respond so the computer makes it close. Also, everything is plugged in. Does anyone know what's wrong with my printer?

    Make sure your printer is set to work online not offline. Depending on your operating system there are different settings. You've done pretty much everything else I would have suggested.

scan for malware because alot of trojans copy the spoolsv file for some reason, run malwarebytes. its about 12th down here, its FREEEEEE http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/

If it is a USB Printer then try another port or if you can another printer, try the printer on another machine
