How can I password protect my printer?

I'm a tech at a school, and I want to put a password protect to the printer..?

I have 8 Computers in the Media center.. Kids print stuff not related to school. I want to password protect the printers in the computers. they all connect to the printer through network HP LaserJet 8000 Series PCL. The printer does not have a password protect I check. Anywho, what I want is that whenever they need to print something the comp prompts a password to continue for printing making them ask either the Media Center or me. Is there a software out there which im sure there is so I can password protect the printer?
