How do I change the paper size on my printer?

Epson Artisan 835 stuck on printing A4 paper size how do I change it?

• My printer the Epson Artisan 835 all in one printer's default printing size is A4 on my computer how do I change it to 8x11in letter size paper so I don't have to keep switching 8x11 because sometimes when I go to print the, printer settings doesn't give the option to switch page sizes. So i'm asking how to change the default paper size settings. I can print single sided when its wrong but I do a fair bit of double sided printing and I doesn't work when the wrong paper size is selected.

  I have the artisan 800 and I bet the procedure is similar. Go to settings-printers and select your printer. Choose printing preferences. Under the main tab choose size of 8 1/2 x 11. Click apply at the bottom. Incidentally, I get cartridges at www.ccs-digital.com. Their reusable cartridges are 2.50 each and you get $2 back for the empties.
