How to connect canon lbp 2900 printer to my HP laptop?

I bought this new HP pavilion dv6 laptop...and i need to print out some important documents using the only printer that i had ( Canon LBP 2900) ...i connected it through the USB port..my computer shows the printer under "unspecified" ...i dont know how to print out my stuff using that printer! :( and when i want to print out the pages ,i dont see any option of the printer i connected! i need help ! plz answer :(

All the available drivers for your Canon i-SENSYS LBP-2900 printer are available on the Canon (Europe) website, my friend. (I can't find them on the Canon (USA) website for some reason.)
