How can I print index cards?

How do you set your printer to print index cards? help please!?

• I set the paper size to 3x5 on word. It prints, but the card comes out blank. I checked the settings and everything and it looks fine, but for some reason, everytime I print, nothing comes out but an empty card. I'm using hp officejet 6500 and a mac. Thanks in advance

  Click on the arrow in the bottom right of the Page Setup group, on the Page Layout tab. This brings up the Page Setup dialog box. On the Paper tab, select Custom size and also 3.5 x 5 size. Also on this tab set the tray for that size paper. On the Margins tab enter 0 margins. Word will say that this is outside the limits of your printer and offer to correct things. Accept this offer and you will see the minimum margins for your printer
