How do I switch my printer to print black and white?

Go to control panel and then "Printers and Faxes". Right click on your printer and select "Printing Preferences". There should be a quality tab where you can select black and white.

np pro at all if copying black copy or write and do only in black or u could take out the colored cartridge

It is a option on your computer go to printer settings.

go to print something then click printing preferences. check black only or greyscale

doesn't matter what type of printer you have they all have that option is always in the properties, if you press ctrl+p

Not all printers can do this but if yours can it will be in Printer Properties under default settings and will say something like print with only black cartridge.
