My printer doesn't work.

Printer problems... HELP?

• So, for some reason, I tried to print something, but it didn't print. Then I went to cancel it in the printer queue, but it didn't cancel, and it was frozen on "deleting". I tried various things to clear this one document, because it wouldn't let me print anything till it was deleted. I restarted my computer, re-hooked my printer, tried to delete my printer from the list of printers (but it wouldn't work due to that document on the queue), typing "net start spool" and "net stop spool" in the start search, creating a batch file and trying to delete the document from there, and so on. After doing this yesterday, I restarted my computer, went to printers, and it said my printer was "offline". I tried putting it online but it gave me error 0x00000005. Today I turned on my computer and went to printers, but there are no printer icons there, and it won't let me click add a printer or anything, so I couldn't see the queue. I tried going to Word to print a test page and see if it works, but Word won't open! Even if I go through documents and click on an old Word document! HELPPPPP!

• Answer:

  First, un-install ALL the drivers of the printer. Now, remove the USB cable from the printer and power it on. Begin a fresh install and re-connect the USB ONLY, when the program asks you to do it and NOT before. Let it complete the install. REBOOT the computer and windows will find the new hardware. At this poit.open your word processor and all should work perfectly :-)
