How to remove faulty black ink cartridge from epson c olor 440?

  • no lights flashing so using headcleaning button wont move printhead slightly left so to access cartridge. ie will only clean the print head if lights are off.

  • Answer:

    Go into the printer properties, I think it's the last tab, choose the option to change cartridges, go through the wizard and you will get it out.

under normal circumstances when you open your printer cover the cartridge automatically moves to the centre for changing try switching it off then back on again

taxed till i die,and then some.

Try flicking the power off at the socket when the printhead is accessible and see if that does it.
