How can we fill to the ink in the HP Cartridge?

Hp ink cartridge...which one is more worth to buy?

  • i'm using hp printer d2660...and i want to buy a black ink cartridge for a spare because i'm living in university. but i'm not sure which one should i buy (either hp60 black ink cartridge or hp60xl black ink cartridge) because i had read some customer review about this ink cartridge and most of the comments are bad (such as "does not last long" & "it was empty"). i just want to know which one is better & worth to be used..since i know that 60xl ink can print more than 60 ink

  • Answer:

As you said the 60XL can print more pages. That is the only difference. They don't last long this is true. Not many ink cartridges do and they are a rip off. Unfortunately we have to have them though. There are a few things that conserve ink but this is still not going to make it last for a long time. If you do not use your printer every day don't turn it on. Turning it on or off actually uses ink as the printer runs a mini cleaning cycling every time it is switched on. Once the printer is on don't stitch it off and on again in the same day as again this uses ink. Set the printer to draft mode if the printouts are not needed for presentation as that setting uses less ink. You can switch it back to a better setting for things that need to be spot on. Apart from that there is not much we can do about the stingy bit of ink the manufacturers puts in their cartridges. If I had to chose I would go with the XL as it will last longer even though it does cost a bit more than the regular 60.
