How do you connect a printer to a wireless d-link computer?

My computer won't connect to my printer?

• I have an hp laptop, and my printer is a Brother MFC-J615W My printer says it's online and there are no problems at all. When I go to print something, it says 'Cannot print to the networked printer'. It asks if I want to do a diagnostics test, which I do, and it says 'As a result of the diagnosis, the printer was not found on the network. Diagnostic-code(-1)' And it says it'll try to check the connection, and then it says 'The diagnosis tool failed to establish a connection'. So then I go into the control panel and find the printer there, and see that it says 'Printer: Offline' I click it and the window pops up where it shows you what you asked to print, and I press the button that says 'Printer' in that window, and the selection to Connect the printer is faded out, meaning I can't click it. I have run out of ideas. I tried doing the online troubleshooting thing, resetting the network, rebooting the printer, everything. I don't understand! Please someone help!!

  Your printer must have came with a disc, the disc is the installation of the printer onto your computer. Now steps: Step 1: Unninstall the printer(if installed). If printer was not installed, then install it. Step 2 Install printer into your laptop, and it will have specific questions like wireless printing, or cable/Internet print. You can choose either one. Step 3: When you attempt to print make sure that you click on your printer "Brother MFC-J615W" and print what you want to print. That may work, and if it doesn't I'm sorry, just wanted to help.
