Why won't my printer software load?

How can I make a printer work with my computer with out the software cds to load on my computer?

I have a printer just no software cds so how will I make it work on my computer

go to the printer manufacturers website and download the drivers from there

Simply go to the manufacturers website, go to support or downloads and download the appropriate drivers. It should be available and fairly easy. HP, Canon, Lexmark, they all provide the drivers on their websites.
