I get two snap shots when I do a print screen.?
-
Hi to all, I recently tried to do a print screen on my monitor, but the end result after I save it is the screen shot on my monitor and to the right side is the picture I use as my wallpaper. What I do is, (for instance) if I get an error on screen, to deal with it, I would press print screen on the keyboard, then go to the paint tool that comes with XP via Accessories/ paint, open that go to edit then paste. My print screen shot is pasted but next to it is my desktop wallpaper. Then that is also saved. Is there a way to fix this. Many thanks in advance for any replies. Finbar.

Answer:
Hold down the <alt> key when you do the print screen. This will give you a snapshot of the window that has the focus.
