How do you print a page?

How to print something off a forum (Problem with the text going off the page)?

  • Well, I want to print two fairly large threads off a forum I read. The problem I am running into is when I go to print preview, it shows the text going off the page. This is due to the face that both websites have that thing that shows who posted it to the left of the post. Links http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19872470/New_Dread_Necromancer_Handbook http://community.wizards.com/bleak_academy/wiki/Dread_Necromancer's_Handbook They are the exact same thing, just diffrent formating. I would prefer to print from the second one, but I will print the first one if its the only one I can. Anyone know how to fix this problem? (Like only have it print from a certian point on the page, so I dont have to print the thing that shows who posted it) Hopefully theres a fix out there, thanks for your time reading this. (Oh and the links I posted are to a handbook writen for a game I play, Dungeons and Dragons. Its playermade material, so its not copyrited by WOTC)

  • Answer:

Try viewing the webpage without its styling, then open the print preview. It will still show who posted it, but it'll look more printer friendly without the forum template and the background images. - In Firefox, go to view > page style > no style. - In IE, go to view > style > no style. I can't seem to find the option to do this in Google Chrome. Alternatively, you could copy and paste only the parts you want into a word processor of some sort, and just print that.
