How can I print a picture out on multiple pages?

How do i print a very large picture on multiple pages? like a poster?

• how do i print a big picture in microsoft word on multiple pages in order to make a poster? i'm looking to print a large image out and put it on my dorm wall, but i dont have access to a huge printer plotter and i dont want to go to kinkos to get this printed. i know this can be done. how can you print a large image on multiple sheets of paper formatted in microsoft word. so that when you take each sheet of paper , you can put them all together to make that large image? almost so that it's like a collapsable poster. you know? i kind of want to do what this website does, homokaasu.org/rasterbator... just not with all the stippling of the picture. i want a sharp clean picture that i can piece together. i'd like to be able to do this preferably through the use of microsoft word or adobe photoshop. please. much thanks to anyone that can help!!

  Go to 'Snapfiles.com/freeware' ; look in the 'graphics' heading and specifically look for 'posterizer'. It's freeware. Remember, to get a nice, clear poster you must start with a high resolution foto or the end product will be pixelized like mad & look fuzzy...not too good.
