You will need a hub or switch to connect the 2 computers together first. The computers will need to be on the same workgroup. Then, add the printer to on of the computers. after that share the printer. On the other computer, go to add printer and search for it. After you that follow the wizard and your done.

One computer has to act as the print server. 1. Install the printer on this computer (computer1). 2. Go to the properties of this printer and enable Sharing - give it a sharename e.g. computer1\printername (call it whatever you like doesn't have to be printername) 3. Go to computer2 and go to start>run and paste in: \\computer1\printername. You can also go to add printer and add a standard tcp/ip port and then \\computer1\printername. It may prompt you for the driver, have the printer driver file handy. 4. Add this printer and save as default 5. Obviously make sure computer1 is on and ensure there aren't any firewall rules blocking computer2 from accessing it.

First you must make a network. To do this, you must connect an ethernet cable ( RJ-45 straight through) to your computers. The socket will lit up after detecting connectivity. Then, you must set up your network to allow printer sharing go to My Computer -> My Network Places. On the left sidebar, click on "set-up a home or small office network". There will be an option there that allows you to share printers with other computers in the network. You can now use your printer from your other computer. :D

You have to first have a network between the computers, either wired or wireless. (You could use a hub, switch or router connected with ethernet or a wireless router) Then you have to go to the pc that the printer is installed on, go to it's options and share the printer over your network.

The computer that the printer is connected to can be used as a print server. It has to be turned on for the other printer to be able to print though. You will need a router that both PC's are connected to. You need to allow file and print sharing from both PC 's. In Vista you go to Network and Sharing and enable Print and File sharing. Nice and easy. In XP you need follow instructions here - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/honeycutt_july2.mspx

Either get a wireless network and set it up to print wirelessly, or attach one computer to the printer, and go to Sharing options or something like that, and click Printer/Share Printer, select the one, and I think it's good. http://askbobrankin.com/sharing_a_printer.html Check that website too.
