What is the instructions in getting the ink from printer?

Epson Stylus NX515 printer will not print after installing new ink carts, twice...?

• I bought this printer around Feb.2010 and had to replace the carts about a month ago...I'm very familiar with changing carts and comfortable doing it so I know that they are installed correctly. Keep in mind the printer was perfect until I replaced the ones that were in it with new ones.The printer recognized the carts and in fact said the black ink was low.....so I printed and nothing, no lines, nothing....then I followed all the instructions 50 times or more nothing....after a while it would print in blue but only sporadically and with lines missing. I thought that the carts were bad, got lucky to exchange them, but the same thing, only this time it does show the ink level as full. I called the manufacturer and after an hour going thru what I had already gone thru he says to send it back and they will replace it, so I thought ok but is this something that happends regularly and he said pretty much. Ok, so will the new one do the same thing if I install new carts...he says, oh we can't say for sure we have to see. There is a one year warranty and it does not start over when getting the new one, it is out one year from the time of the original receipt date. So you get the replacement and by the time the ink it came with is done you will be out of warranty and sol! So does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this pos to print correctly?

  You could try to clean the print heads, but if Epson said it is a know problem I would look into a new printer from a different manufacture maybe a KODAK or go for a laserjet
