How to connect my pc to my tv/projector?

I dont have hdmi port in my pc so how can i connect my pc to big lcd tv?

  • hi every one i wanna ask u guys that i have a new pc but i don't have hdmi port into that so can any one please let me know how to connect my pc to big lcd tv, i want to connect my pc with hdmi to lcd so do i need any devise or anything can some one please help, i know how to connect it with other Cable i don't know its name, but i want to connect with hdmi, so please help thanks

    If your PC has a DVI port, it will work with HDTV HDMI. The two can be connected with a DVI-to-HDMI cable. If your PC only has an old VGA port, then you are restricted to using a VGA connection (if the HDTV has one). Old analog VGA is not compatible with digital HDMI.

well if you dont have a HDMI than all you can use is a VGA cable, most HDTV's have the input for it in the back and all laptop/computers have an input, just go down to your local walmart and ask for one they cant be more than $10. it wonnt be HD but it still looks good

it will have a vga port and most likely your lcd tv will on the back of the tv next to the vga port will be a an audio jack in this is for sound connect this to you pc using a double ended audio jack if you have a dvi port an adaptor is needed to convert to vga
