My Monitor Won't Work?

Why wont my Kogi 17'' monitor boot from a special 'work' CD but works fine other wise?

  • KOGI L7EH-TA says:"oversized-recommend 1280x1024' message and will not boot from CD I have a Kogi 17inch monitor bought used and it works great with my Windows XP but when i tried to boot from a cd that was given to me from my new job..It only ended up saying Oversized.recommend 1280x1024 in a colored box and then the monitor shut off, there is no was to adjust the size of monitor screen and i have looked at every similar situation with others on the computer with same problem... I experimented and bought a used old CRT from Goodwill and the CD booted right up on that monitor (also with another CRT i tried to be sure) so there must be something wrong with this Kogi L7EH-TA monitor. It must not be my computer since it did boot on the CRT's. Other than that my computer and the KOGi function fine for every use. But I will need to boot from this 'work' CD when i start my new at home job. Any suggestions? I will end up having to use the CRT for now until I can afford a new flatscreen monitor. The CRT screens hurt my eyes. Thanks for your help.

  • Answer:

Try running the program in compatability mode first, if that dont do it, check into your graphics card/settings.
