Are samsung f480's good?

Samsung 206BW 20" good 4 people with weak sight ?

• Hi I was thinkin about bying a good lcd the one that allows a person with a weak sight to read the text without any problems. i ve had Samsung sm713bm 17" but that was a mistake . Fonts were really small nothing like on my 17"crt. My eyes started to hurt. Now a good freind told me to think about buying Samsung 206BW 20" Widescreen Display , here are the specs http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitor/LCD_Digital/LS20MEWSFVXAA.asp?page=Specifications She told me tha i will be able to use i like mine crt and that the fonts will be just as large as i want tjem to be without losing sharpnes. What do you think about that LCD?

  Overall you'll need the LCD monitor with the biggest pixel pitch. 1. Changing font size applies only to the character size of icon names and menu. It doesn't effect to the size of characters in web page or any documents, which you want to see. 2. Also using some software magnifier is temporary expedient. 3. Since your eyes are comfortable with 800x600, your comfortable pixel pitch is 0.360mm (on 15" CRT) or 0.410mm (on 17" CRT). 4. See http://www.guipedia.net/guidewiki/pixel_... for the pixel pitch you want. 5. Currently the largest pixel pitch is 0.303mm (27" LCD, 1920x1200) but it's too expensive. 6. The next largest pixel pitch is 0.297mm (15" LCD, 1024x768). See 15" LCD monitor in your local store and if it's comfortable to your eyes, buy it. 7. Otherwise you had better to buy LCD TV instead of LCD monitor. Or keep using CRT monitor. * Here the key word is "Pixel Pitch", nothing else.
