Recording XBOX 360 from PC monitor.

Record Xbox Audio from Internal Monitor speakers onto PC.?

Hi, I want to know if it's possible to record audio comming from my speakers on my monitor to my pc. I have my xbox 360 connected to my monitor using an HDMI cable. The audio from the 360 comes through the monitor's internal speakers. My monitor happens to have an audio port and it came with a male-male cable. What I have now is an audio splitter connected to my pc with the wires of both my internal speakers and external speakers plugged into the two female ends of the splitter. This causes my pc audio to come through both the external and internal speakers. What I want is: -Audio from pc to come from external speakers -Audio from xbox to come from internal speakers -Audio from xbox to be recorded using the "stereo in" option in recording control. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I don't really understand your question. Ideally it is better to use an HDMI splitter and an HDMI capture card that will record both audio and video from xbox 360
