Is there an RCA to VGA cable or adapter?

Hey, i wanna use my 32'' TV as my pc monitor? can i not just use a VGA to TV S-Video RCA AV 3 Adapter Cable?

  • Answer:

I sure hope that's a HD TV, or that you only plan to use it for games -- TV's have very low resolution (level of detail) and a standard TV will give you headaches if you try to read text on it for long. There are converter boxes to display SVGA to various TV inputs, or graphics cards that include TV-out, yes. Check your local computer store.

If you use a S-video or RCA video input to your TV from the computer, the picture quality will be poor. I know this because I tried it. The best way to go is a VGA input on your TV or a composite video input. If your TV lacks these inputs, I guess you are out of luck.
