I want to combine a desktop with a monitor or tv screen?

• Hi, I want to buy a desktop also for playing games. But that's not my problem. I'm wondering if I should buy a monitor or tv screen. I want to watch tv (in time with 3D), play computer games and also ps3 games. I think that i need a tv screen because ? Can I use the tv screen than also as a monitor for my desktop? Or is it also possible to watch tv with a monitor? If so, what should you recommend to buy, a monitor or a tv screen? Thanks.

  Actually there are already many people using a TV instead of using a computer monitor, especially people who likes to play games on a big screen. I also have a 55" TV connected to my desktop. I use it as a regular computer monitor such as web surfing, computer games, and watching downloaded videos. I also have my satellite cable connected to my TV, so I can watch TV programs in my room. I can watch TV by simply changing the input device from Input1 to a TV, then change to another to watch bluray movies or to play my wii games. It's really easy and convenient to use as a computer monitor. You only need to connect your computer and TV via correct wires/cables. I like to use the TV screen better than using a computer monitor because it's cheaper for the size and I can utilize it in many ways. My recommendation for a computer monitor TV is LG 47LW5600 or 55LW6500. I read many reviews complimenting those two models and they are very affordable for what they can do. It also has 3D feature and internet connectivity so you can play any 3D games or watch anything in 3D on your computer.
