How do I fix my LCD monitor?

My LCD monitor is cutoff about 1.5 inches on the right side. How do I fix this?

THe right side of the monitor has a black vertical blank area. THe whole left side of the image on my desktop is cutoff. IT seems the whole image got shifted left. How do i fix this. I have fiddled with basic settings like resolution or what not. Is there a specific setting that i have to work with. Also i have done everything humanly possible on my monitor using the monitors buttons so i cant fix it with that. I also tried restarting.

check for a line of buttons on the face or side of the monitor. You will have a button that, when pressed, will bring up a menu. Then you can select horizontal position and adjust it to the right. If this doesn't work you may have a bad monitor.
