Why does my computer monitor flicker?

  • It flickers from a bluish to a yellowish hue then back to normal

    Its one of two things: 1. The cord from the monitor going to the computer tower is loose or damaged. (My cord was damaged a few weeks ago, so I had to buy a new monitor, but if your low on money, like I was, find a small-business computer store (NOT BEST BUY OR CIRCUIT CITY) that sells used monitors, I got mine for $10 each!!!) 2. Also make sure you do not have your cell phone underneath/sitting next to the monitor this can make the monitor screen flicker once in awhile and can destroy the monitor. (Also happened to me, I had to recycle it because the monitor would not show anything on the screen)

Could be the cable or the driver, go to the manufacturer site and download a new driver, if that doesn't work, email them or call tech support.

sounds like the cable from the monitor that plugs into your computer is loose make sure it is plugged in tight

happens to mine as well, think its cos the cable is loose or could be a loose wire in the actual cable
