Why does my computer screen have a pink tint?
-
Yes so my computer( hp pavilion 753n) screen has a pink tint. And it gets really annoying. Sometimes the pink tint go away for like 30 seconds but comes back. Does anyone know how to get rid of the pink tint?

Answer:
Hello, The pink tint indicated that the back light bulbs that light up the monitor are failing. Unfortunately this will only get worst. The bulbs are just like very thin florescent bulbs like in the light in an office and will go out over time. You can take the unit to a repair center and they can replace the bulbs but the cost would be more than a replacement monitor.

It sounds like either the monitor is going out or the video card is failing. I would connect another monitor to see if the pink returns. If so, then the card is failing. --Steve
